WHAT IS IT?
Polynucleotides are derived from purified salmon DNA. They are designed to rejuvenate & regenerate by promoting fibroblasts in the skin to produce collagen and elastin, as well as water retention. This results in improved skin quality, anti-inflammation and a radiant glow to the skin.

Would I be suitable?
Suitability would always be assessed during your consultation. Polynucleotides would not be suitable for those under the age of 21, pregnant or breastfeeding.
How is Treatment Given?
Topical local anaesthetic (numbing cream) is applied to the area to be treated beforehand. Multiple small injections using a fine needle and/or fine cannula technique is used to administer polynucleotides. Pain/stinging is short-lived. It is a single treatment, but two to three sessions, 4-6 weeks apart, are recommended for optimal results.

RADIESSE
WHAT IS IT?
Radiesse is the ultimate product for rejuvenation in moderate to severe signs of ageing. This is a hyper-dilute calcium hydroxyapatite, rather than HA, so tends to be irreversible but subsequently has longer-lasting results and is less painful than profhilo. It can be administered over larger areas to promote collagen production, to lift and tighten skin.

Suitability would always be assessed during your consultation. Radiesse would not be suitable for those under the age of 21, pregnant or breastfeeding, or those considering surgical rejuvenation in the next few years or due breast mammography.
How is Treatment Given?
The product contains local anaesthetics but topical local anaesthetic is applied (numbing cream) to the area to be treated beforehand. Multiple small injections and/ or the cannula technique is used to administer Radiesse. Stinging/pain is short-lived. Given as two courses 16 weeks apart.

5 injection points on each side of the face (bioaesthetic points) or multiple small injection points in the neck & décolletage. It is usually given as a course of two or three, 4-6 weeks apart. This can be topped up every 3-6 months with a single course. It can sting on injection but this is short-lived. Topical anaesthetic (numbing cream) is available upon request.
